It's not that hard to avoid. But I can explain her existence, allow me: I often wonder when i see Britany Spears #1 in UK, US & OZ...? How did that happen? I have a plausable theory. Second half of last Century in France, over a long time a sewer system had been created in Paris. By 1910 only half the cities buildings were piped into the system and only half the cities in France had any sewers at all. In 1954 the last city without, St. Remy de Provence, installed sewers. It took over a century to finish when it could have been done in 10 years. Primarily becuase it was difficult trying to convince property owners that sewerage and garbage on the streets was not something they'd want. Basically people opted for sewerage... Ergo, Britney Spears is popular today. >> BUT in Singapore, Stolen Car was "trashed". You see, in Singapore, we have >> only ONE popular music radio station that play current hits. Singapore has floggings doesn't it? yes? well... get this radio station to invite all the boy bands in the world into the studio for a collective flagellation. Sounds like a fab way to fill those lazy drive time slots... "Thankyou to the afternoon shift for that non stop block of rock from Phil Collins, Phil Collins, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Mariah, Elton, and Celine Dion.... wlecome to the show.... TODAY WE GO THE RATAN ON *drum roll* THE BACKSTREET BOYS..." i'd listen to that. unless I had to hear one of their songs.. I've heard one in it's entirity and it wasn't a pleasant experience. "There's no point turning to some tarot-card wielding, chakra realigning, anti-oxidant-taking self-help guru to solve your existential angst, because they're not feeling fabulous either ...
