I have no idea how it works-how messages are added etc? I was interested in the one today about Nelly Furtado and Beth. I've just got into Nelly- the album is EXCELLENT. My fave song off it is Turn Off the Light- like anyone cares- but hey?! I was extremely lucky to bump into Beth when I went on a holiday to Italy this year. It was very bizaree but definately a highlights.Hopefully this message goes somewhere and does not just end up floating somewhere in the lands of the unknown. I'll soon find out won't I. Have a great weekend. Her birthday is December 14th, I remember this as it's the same as mine, which I thought was really cool. One of my few claims to fame. Regarding Nelly Furtado, i was under the impression that she wasn't very good. Everyone on the list talks like she's credible, so maybe I have been wrong. But she's never been played on Triple J radio... ergo, she probably isn't worth much thought. She's a charter, not a credible performer. Well, I didn't like that song much and the film clip was awful. Dido is at #1 apparently. She does get played on Triple J... "Thankyou" has been on for a few months now and I've been thinking that's a beautiful song, and thinking she's probably just another one of these artist that gets lost in the ether a little bit, and I'd heard you people mention her... then I hear she's at #1 in the albums.. or was it "thankyou" #1? I don't know.. but it was a surprise anyway. I never really know what's in the charts.. thank god! I don't think I'd want to know. So I was wondering how does something good end up charting? HOw come everyone likes Dido? Well everyone likes Dido because Eminem sampled her song. And why does everyone know Eminem and why does Eminem chart? Because old people who own the "press" and the "media" are fucked in the head and don't understand him, so write bad things about him and hence he charts regardless of his talents. Aaargh.. the music business can go to hell.. i'm just going to crawl somewhere warm and listen to Beth!
