Without paying big bucks for DAT recorder I mean. I was thinking that maybe an old fashioned tape recorder might do the trick. In the meantime, she's only doing little shows in Britain from time to time, right. No tour dates are scheduled yet, right? I'm in Germany for a few months and hoping to catch her on tour while I'm still here before going back to the states. Does anyone have the official scoop? I haven't seen anything on the web sites. Minidisc. A portable minidisc recorder can be had for under $200, although you'll probably need to spend another $50 for a small, good quality microphone. The quality will be much, much better than with an analog tape. The recorders are tiny (will fit in your pocket), and you get lots of other benefits: easy rearranging, deleting, and editing of tracks; fast access to single tracks, just like CDs; digital transfer to a cd burner on your stereo.
