At a festival fueled by alcohol and driven by mainly by testosterone, she provides a much needed touch of femininity. This, and her gig at V2000 are the last two UK shows before she retires into the studio, so we are treated to a lighthearted runthrough of her back catalogue. 'Someone's Daughter' is jazzy, filled out by a loose piano and given added emotion by a minimal string section, while 'She Cries Your Name' is the perfect lost love song. Her jokes aren't getting any better though… ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 Jul 2000 23:44:21 -0500 From: Adam Critchfield Subject: don't wanna know 'bout evil Hi all!
