Hi everyone, My fiance was watching E!'s "Coming Attractions" this morning and he reports that a Beth Orton song (he's pretty sure it was Beth) was used during the trailer for Demi Moore's upcoming movie, which he didn't catch the name for. This might be interesting, so that's why I passed it along. :-) I can't find any definite info about the flick on E! or Internet Movie Database... - - Kristina ______________________________________________________ Angel Fan Email - Official Email of the Anaheim Angels Get your free Angel Fan Email account http://www.angelsbaseball.com ------------------------------ Date: 2 May 2000 01:52:24 -0700 From: bambysarah@angelfan.com Subject: movie trailer cont. Hi again, I remembered another place to look for info... Deja.com! :-) Demi's new movie is called "Passion of Mind". IMDB mentions this, but puts the year down as '99 and someone commented on it already, so I thought it was released last year and I just missed it. haha I found a post talking about "Passion" from mid-April. I didn't see anything about the soundtrack on the site... This post said the trailer can be downloaded on the site, but I musta missed that area (it's late! haha).... - --------- Subject:NEW Demi Moore Movie Trailer Online Date:04/17/2000 The first DEMI MOORE film in three years is available to download online. "PASSION OF MIND" which is scheduled for a Memorial Day Weekend release is about a woman who lives two lives and doesn't know which one is reality and which one is just a dream. I know that there are a LOT of Demi-bashers out there, but the movie looks pretty good in comparison to her last four films. Hopefully it'll breathe some sorta life into her career slump.   Here's the address: http://www.passionofmind.com/   ______________________________________________________ Angel Fan Email - Official Email of the Anaheim Angels Get your free Angel Fan Email account http://www.angelsbaseball.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 2 May 2000 09:23:23 -0400 From: "Connors, Tom" Subject: RE: movie trailer? Date: Tue, 2 May 2000 18:08:53 -0500 From: Katie Wickliffe  Subject: Lilith Co-Founder Proposes TV Series, Tour To: fte@smoe.org  - ------------------------------------------------------ I found this article over at MTV.com Lilith Co-Founder Proposes TV Series, Tour Marty Diamond, the agent who helped create the Lilith Fair tour with Sarah McLachlan and manager Terry McBride, is shopping a proposal for a Lilith-inspired TV show and associated tour based on mixed genders, genres, and spontaneous collaborations. The working title of the proposed monthly cable program and mini-tour series is "The Living Room," and British electro-folk songstress Beth Orton is under discussion as the possible host. Diamond told MTV News that the Lilith Fair's penchant for spontaneous onstage collaborations was his inspiration, along with his time spent working for legendary promoter Bill Graham. "I've seen the magic of Miles Davis opening for Janis Joplin," he said. Diamond's television proposal suggests possible sessions featuring Orton, for example, performing with the likes of former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, jazz saxophonist Branford Marsalis, gritty troubadour Tom Waits, and genre-bender Beck; another of Diamond's ideas would be to team McLachlan with such diverse artists as techno guru William Orbit, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, and The Fugees' Wyclef Jean. Diamond is currently in discussion with a number of television outlets regarding the concept. The tour aspects of the tentatively titled "Living Room," Diamond explained, sees taking three or four components of each TV show and staging up to a dozen live shows in a section of the country each season, with an emphasis on different staging concepts. "I see this as creating an environment," Diamond explained. "I see the set changing, based on who the artists are. Beck's living room would look different from Jay-Z's living room. We also may do non-traditional settings in traditional venues, like maybe in New York, do Irving Plaza with the stage set on the side and people sitting on the floor, or something else that's totally different." Diamond, who is working under his Little Big Man agency banner, told MTV News that his Lilith Fair partners are not involved in the project. ______________________________________________________ Angel Fan Email - Official Email of the Anaheim Angels Get your free Angel Fan Email account http://www.angelsbaseball.com ------------------------------ End of trailer-park-digest V1 #70 *********************************
