True, all good things must come to an end, including activity on this list. I never really believed this but due to the less than adaquate Bedlam Ballroom (and please no one respond to that comment, I'm so tired of argueing about that damn album), the major break-up of the minor drag, and two apples falling off the bowl of fire tree, it seems that I am being forced into this way of thinking. It was good for awhile, quite good. But the revolution was not as far-reaching as we all hoped and tryed for it to be. Let's face it people, the old artsy cliche of "No one understands us" is quite true. People don't understand what this music does/did to us. How complete it made you feel, how you thought maybe there actually were still good musicians out there, how you thought you were a part of something good, pure, honest. No one can understand those things, nor do they want to, because if they did they would realize how much they have missed out on. Accept this as truth, we are alone. Not only because we were some of the select few who listened to and appreciated this band for what it was, but also because we are part of a fewer group who actually miss it. The fact that Samsara was the best album of 2000 is completly overlooked by everyone but us. But I think that's okay. I mean BOF is my favorite band out there right now. And if they ever became wildly popular I think it would seriously annoy me. So let's be proud of who we are and the time that we spent with all of our close personal SNZ and related friends. God knows we can't get respect from anyone else, i mean I still can't play BOF in my college art classes without someone saying some jackass comment about it. But I guess that is off the point and I must be leaving. Until again. joshua _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ End of the-landing-digest V4 #20 ********************************
