Here's the most recent news for April: After hibernating for much of this past Winter, Squirrel Nut Zippers are preparing for a new full-length release and an extended bout of touring. Expect the as-yet-untitled album to hit late this Summer, with tourdates to follow immediately thereafter. The rumors are true ... Jimbo and Katharine are expecting a wee one (also as-yet-untitled) later this month. Wish them luck and send them your best! Squirrel Nut Zippers' January taping of "Put a Lid On Him" at the Sesame Street studios will air on April 21 and again on June 9. Please check local listings for "Sesame Street" broadcast times and set those VCRs! Check out snippets of their performance by linking here: CTW - Stars on the Street. A previously unreleased Squirrel Nut track "All Along the Frying Pan" is featured on the compilation album "Songs for Summer" which landed in stores March 21.
