Wow! It was amazing! I know I said I'd try to remember more, but it's hard. It was so good. They played a little new stuff from "Control Freak," which is due out at the end of May. I also found out that the BOF EP won't be out until the summer. :( Let's see. In the grand tradition, Kevin told a story. It was about how when he was about 10 or so, his friend, Mikey- I think- peed on his leg when they were playing hide and go seek. Kevin went to Mikey's dad and asked if he could change into a clean pair of jeans, or something, since his jeans were pee covered. Mikey's dad slammed hte door in Kevin's face. He then walked his bike back to his house, since he didn't want to ride it because of the pee. After this amusing story, Andrew (who Kevin introduced as "Andy Bird"- Andrew didn't like that too much I don't think...) started to sing, while Kevin was repeating that he had pee all over himself. It was very funny. :) Kevin bought a whole bunch of peeps, the sugar coated marshmallow chicks for Easter, and told how when Jesus died, there were no peeps, but when he rose out of his cave, there were peeps waiting for him. Kevin passed out some Funsaver cameras, so people could take pictures and give the film back to him. I took about 50 pictures, counting with the camera I brought. They played "Mope" last, and then came out for an encore. Kevin came out first, and told the audience that they were waiting for Andrew to come back from taking a whiz outside. During a new song, which I think is titled "She's got apples"- it has something to do with apples, anyhow... Kevin did a comedic drum solo. He "dropped" one of his drumsticks, and proceeded to use every stick he brought, just kinda letting go when he used them. They went flying everywhere... Also, Josh Bell did a little Ricky Martin impression with his dancing abilities. The whole show was just so awesome! *laura" ------------------------------ End of the-landing-digest V3 #40 ********************************
