I like Cake, but I don't recall ever professing it on the landing. I'm starting to wonder if people really like this stuff. In response to Joshua's email: I consider myself a musician. I play many stringed instruments (6 and 7 string guitars, 4 & 6 string fretted and fretless basses, violin, mandolin, banjo, and piano). I respect all forms of music that are from a developed musical group or person, i.e., classical, jazz, big band, blues, and many forms of rock (from the Beatles to Nirvana to hardcore to industrial, techno, and Emo). I do not respect rap artists (they don't do anything themselves, musically, for the most part) and I don't enjoy country music. Everything else that comes from a musician deserves respect. Now, I personally enjoy complex music. Though the Beatles were not as complex as Holst (an English classical composer), they were very influential upon a lot of modern day music. Techno (with its various forms) is a complex form of music, for the most part (except for House). But you know what, you can't do it, so don't make derogatory remarks towards it, or prefix it with a statement of opinion rather than that of global fact. Blink 182 is a band (I don't really like), but you know what, they cant do much more than that. That is the extent of they're abilities. They work hard, or did at one time at least. I don't know you but what you sent in your email is offensive and this is my response to that. david. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2000 17:10:01 EST From: BlowRedBlow@aol.com Subject: Re: Q6 Andrew's manager, Andrea Troolin, told me that they were going to be making a new record. Get an FTP client program (shareware.com should have hundreds to choose from). Input the information (address, name, pass) and you're on your way. 2. Use your internet browser of choice and type into the URL space: ftp://username:password@ip.address (in our case: ftp://danny:diamond@134.181.67.113). I think 1 is preferable, mostly because browsers aren't always configured correctly, and because there is better resume support in standalone clients. peace. >how do we do the FTP thing again? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2000 22:30:52 -0800 (PST) From: Shaun Smakal Subject: Re: Server Update thanks man! guess i really DO need that computer science 122 class after all! 8D _____________________________________________________________ This email was brought to you by www.theshrubbery.com.
