You know, I KNEW that was gonna throw somebody off! I'm from Michigan (near Flint--and everyone now knows where Flint is don't they?) and I'm familiar with the 92.1 The Edge in Canada (I even heard it ONCE too!). But, the station I was refering to is WWDX out of Lansing, MI. So, no, I'm not from Toronto (though I do need to get to some higher quality plays more often!) and really, every major city needs a nice, well run alternative/new rock station instead of the countless R&B, country, pop rock stations all over the place. The Edge...CFNY 102.1. It's a totally great radio station. Radio stations in Toronto are just amazing. I listen to 99.9 The Buzz out of Vermont. Take care, Theresa. >>So, no, I'm not from Toronto (though I do need to get to some higher quality plays more often!) and really, every major city needs a nice, well run alternative/new rock station instead of the countless R&B, country, pop rock stations all over the place. > >Smakal > ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Mar 2000 01:04:54 -0500 From: "theresa mccart" Subject: BOF website. Just wanted to inform you guys that there is action on the Bowl of Fire website front. Not much action....but enough to give us hope. And...go see the film "Magnolia". It will blow your mind. And "Topsy-Turvy"....too funny. Someone else who knows The Buzz! It's a great station. Actually, it was back in '97 when I heard a song for the first time on that station... it went something like, "in the afterlife..."
