Is it like BFF or something different? > well, if by 'something different' you actually mean 'flaming pile of poo,' then yes. and this is speaking as a very big fan of BFF. i bet i just pissed some people off. ah well. ~Courtney and her sig just keeps getting longer and longer and longer..... http://kscr.usc.edu http://www.la2nite.com http://www.soundbreak.com http://www.theshrubbery.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Mar 2000 11:05:33 EST From: BlowRedBlow@aol.com Subject: Re: F(L)OP I guess there are a lot of mixed emotions about this album... the description on the CD doesn't really indicate what kind of music it is, just says "Instrumental and spoken word music by Ben Folds featuring William Shatner on 'In Love.'" Now, being a fan of BFF and being a fan of this album can be two totally different things. Some of the music sounds like hard rock, but most of it is techno. The reasoning behind title of the album becomes very obvious after listening to the first track for just seconds. I, personally, think it's worth the price just to hear Ben says "Sh*t? That's not sh*t, I think you're sh*t, you little turd dropper" in a spoken intro to "Rubber Sled." If you listen VERY carefully, you can hear Brick being playing at high speed for a few seconds. - -Mike ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Mar 2000 12:28:15 -0800 (PST) From: Daniel Summers Subject: Janet Klein Hello all!
