It doesn't make any sense, because he doesn't look like he's 19 in any remote way!!! After talking to him and seeing him for a couple hours, up close as well as on stage, I can't help but think that there is a big missunderstanding, because Reese looks NOTHING like a 19 year old. He has the mouth of a 19 year old, but that's it. He'd be younger than I am if he were 19 (And that just doesn't seem possible =) Anyway, I can't believe that someone would take the horn section book. Honestly, I'm being serious about this! It's really anal of someone and pretty stupid, too. The SNZ's have been nice enough to give us time before and after their shows for autographs/chats/etc., yet some people (At least one) aren't satisfied with that. I just don't see how someone could take something that is obviously as needed as this book. Maybe I'm just too nice to think of doing that, but it honestly is really WRONG of whoever this is. I hope they come to their stupid senses and return it, and maybe fall into a BIG pit right after they return it as punishement for their crime. BY THE WAY, (after that angry sidenote) DOES ANYONE HAVE A COPY (PROMOTIONAL, MAYBE?) OF THE VIDEO FOR the ghost of steven foster? I REALLY want a video copy of this that I can show to my friends, but I see no chance of it being released on video, and I was wondering if someone would make me a copy of the video. I'd of course pay for it, as long as it's reasonable. CAN ANYONE HELP ME????? That's all for now. Anyone going to the DC show? I'm hoping to go with one of my friends. I like the general admission thing. it rocks, because if you can get there early enough, you get good seats! Plus the tickets are reasonably priced!! Regis said that Santa (Chris) looked too young. Then jimbo said "No, he's just tired". Then Regis replied "So he's 19 (referring to the earlier comment on santa looking young) and the new addition to the band". Then Jimbo said "No, that would be our pianist" (referring to the new member part, not the 19 part). ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Dec 1999 12:20:04 -0800 (PST) From: Andrea Gutierrez Subject: re: BOF, reese, uhm.. > I also don't think the band looks as > happy and fun w/o tom and > ken :( Yes, yes, so true. That's what I kept saying. It just felt so WEIRD. Even if they had played the original version of any of those songs, it still would have seemed almost... wrong. IT'S A DIFFERENT BAND. They're definitely not the SNZ we fell in love with. Sure, they have potential to be good--but as good? No. Just good in a different light. *~Andrea~* __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Thousands of Stores. Millions of Products. All in one place. Yahoo! I know up until Ken & Tom left, there weren't any horn charts so I guess the new guys drew 'em up from listening to the masters and what not. I know how much work this can be, having kinda-sorta attempted to write out a few licks without much success. I can't imagine what charting a whole song would involve but it's many, many hours of work. Unfortunately it's not likely to ever be seen again, and they'll probably have to start from scratch :-( Andy ------------------------------ End of the-landing-digest V2 #286 *********************************
