I had never seen BOF - it was the perfect time and place to finally be graced by their performance. Who was throwing confetti? The show seemed to be something like the old SNZ concerts, before they got big. Perfect atmosphere... I had to leave right after they began AFTER YOUVE GONE. Did it go on much longer? Ahhhh, here's to a great show by Claudette, Margaritte, Beatrice, and..... what was the other one? ~Phil ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 Nov 1999 10:50:44 -0500 From: Dawn Carr Subject: RE: the-landing-digest V2 #248 I was throwing confetti (noone's listening to me). Anyway, was a great show, though the shortest, I think, I've seen them do. I copped a setlist but it is inaccurate as they had to chop songs. And while the others changed back into their normal attire after the performance, Kevin could be found, all tarted up and nasty dancing, on the floor. You are always so witty. We must start calling you Oscar. Somebody had emailed the Squirrel Nut Zipper mailing group with photos of that performance. Kevin indeededly looked very comfortable in his costume - very "chi-chi". If the Kids in the Hall ever get back together, he should think about doing some skits with them. My friend and I were philosophizing the other night about certain individuals and the costumes that they choose for Halloween. We both agreed that the costumes that one chooses to wear truly reflects that persons personality. I wonder what this says about the Bowl of Fire. And thank you for your kind comments.
