He should get a good amount of grocery-and-weed money from that stuff ;) He also said he's writing songs right now, waiting for the rest of the band to get back from the JAzz Squad Tour. I gotta ask him why he was absent for that Bob Wills thing. Does it bug anyone else that Jimbo has been playing trombone for like, 3 years and was the trombonist for 2 bob wills songs, while i've been playing for 10 and i still suck? *sigh* Rufus...He's got the opera thing going all the way, like Freddie Mercury. He's so "beautiful" while Andrew is more "wicked" or something. Both are amazing singers, yes! and incredible musicians and songwriters to boot!!! as for the lawsuit...still going on, but getting tiresome. Kenny reports that the band is being sued by a former tour manager now. to that he says (and i quote) "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" we should take up a collection. She is amazing. And for whoever asked, yes i do like portishead. Does anyone listen to the creatures? They're soiuxsie soix's latest band. Sort of gothic, punkish, technoish music. If youlike Bjork you might like them. rufus wainright is pretty great, but i like the mcgarrigles better. My mother has been listening to them since they started and i've been listening to them all my life. She used to live in the same building as their violinist. - -elina ------------------------------ End of the-landing-digest V2 #223 *********************************
