What was Stacy Guess' role on Hot? On the enhanced CD footage he is shown playing songs from that album, but in the notes it is somebody else. What's the story? Tom posted this on the official page: "7-6-99 Hey, y'all--this is your old buddy Tom. It's true that about a week ago I officially left the Squirrel Nut Zippers. I'm not going to discuss details, but I will say that there is no anger or hard feelings. Basically, all things must pass and it was time to go. What I want to tell you is that we have been truly blessed by our fan base--you guys have been more supportive than we could have ever imagined. Thanks so much! Everythng we did in the way of records and performances was to try to give you the best thing we could make. Anyway, keep your ears open, because there's still a lot of good music to be made by myself and other Zippers. You guys rule and stay cool!" What does everybody feel is going to happen to the Zippers now that Tom has left? Do you think that they will keep making records and touring? Or do you think that with Tom gone SNZ will break up and everybody will just take the side projects full on? (Jazz Squad, KnockDown Society, etc...) _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
