While I'm working on the problem, i figured I'd post their messages for them so you can all see what they have to say!! Sorry Gerald and Matt...I am trying hard to fix the problem! I was subscribed to the coollist SNZ list, but changed addresses and couldn't get back on :( So I'm hoping this list is as informative as the coollist was. Maybe someone could just tell me any subjects you've exhausted already so I don't become unknowingly redundant. Thanks... It's always cool to see the Zippers getting some national TV spotlight. I also saw "Blast from the Past" last night. All in all, it wasn't the swing dancing, "blast from the past" that it was advertised; there was about 5 minutes of action at a fictional swing club in LA called the 40's Club, or something like that. They used Hell, then a song by the CPD, then Mr. Zuit Suit (by someone I didn't recognize), and then Trou Macaq. If you want to see Brandon Fraiser do the same 3 swing moves over and over for 3 minutes, then definitely see this movie. By the way, I don't mean to start a holy war, but how many people here use Macs vs. Wintel machines, and does it have any bearing on the kind of SNZ material you like? Hmmm...I was doing some heavy web-searching, and I came upon the soundtrack for "A Life Less Ordinary" (Ewen McGreggor, Cameron Diaz) which not only has "Put a Lid on It" but also songs by bands like Beck, Prodigy, Ash, and the song "Beyond the Sea" by Bobby Darrin. Hmm. I did not know that. ANOTHER thing...there's a Merge Records 5th Anniv. compalation that has "(you are my) Radio" on it...along with songs my fellow Chapel Hillians Polvo, superchunk and Archers of Loaf, as well as those kooky guys Drive like Jehu and Rocket From the Crypt. buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000019NA/theshrubberyezin Fascinating things you can find these days ....hmmm...
