It's a 3 part 6 hour series. It's cronilogical in its studies of art...and particularly to your interests--- Jazz Super super super series, with tons of great history. My family watched the whole thing twice! Check your local listings to see if it's on by you. But, you can also go to this address: http://www.pbs.org/immaw/ and see a lot of good stuff about the show, including film clips and lots of other great goodies. I highly reccomend that ya do! Also on pbs.org is multimedia about that show most of us missed called "Mississippi: River of Song" Here is the address for that: http://www.pbs.org/riverofsong/ I hope everyone checks this stuff out. It's integral to understanding the history of jazz, swing, and the Zipper's whole "Hot music" song. Jimbo would eat this stuff up. Have they done this before????(besides sessions at 54th) Because I know they been on Conan, leno, letterman, rosie, regis & kathy, and hard rock...but i've only seen the Conan, and Leno ones. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Feb 1999 23:51:19 EST From: Laszlo29@aol.com Subject: lost sheep Ive never been on a list that did a move like this one has, but I do know we have a LOT of lost and confused sheep left on the other list. some have signed up but get no mail, some have lost the original address and can,t find us,( although I,m trying to gather as many as I can), or they were sleeping and missed the whole deal altogether.
