My living room cnocert series, "Tales From the Living Room," is starting to go pretty damn well. The next "gig" at my house will take place around 3 PM-ish on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25. I hope to see you all there! Performing will be Joel Cage, from the Boston area, and Jane Kelly Williams, from the New York area. Joel is one of the most engaging and passionate male singer/songwriters on the Boston scene, and time & time again he has blown me away with his lyrics, guitar playing, and the amazing passion that flows from his voice. This is really a guy who sings from the heart-nothing saccharine about Joel! Jane Kelly Williams is yet another amazing singer. Her first album, Tapping the Wheel, is available in record stores near & far, and her second album should be out sometime in the next few months. Her lyrics are graceful like a summer breeze, and her voice is as soft, sweet, and memorable as the dew from honeysuckle. Please come and see for yourself. I can extol Joel & Jane to the stars, they definitely deserve at least as much, but I extend my invitation to you, now, to find out for yourself just how mesmerizing these two singers are! These house concerts are pretty cool-as my friend Jody says, they provide a "user friendly" environment for listening to music. The point is the direct honest truth of connection-no overhead, no managers, no booking agents, no strict venues with their absurditiesjust people and music coming together for an afternoon of fun and memories. =) e-mail me privately if you need directions stephanie * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Stephanie Maria Kartalopoulos * The Greek Poet Chyck kartalst@hugse1.harvard.edu This is my prayer for you: May the moon protect you with honesty, caring, and gentility. May the sun guide you with assertive perseverence. May the stars embrace you, bringing smiles to your faces and songs to your souls.
