I see that it is now an advertisement parking area. Did the owner let the domain expire? ...because of low traffic? I didn't visit the site (or this list) that often (I guess that few did, as Lisa isn't very [visibly] active in her music career right now), but I did like to visit/post occasionally; it's a shame it's gone. d. howery - ------- The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music: http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide/ - ------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe sycophant If you gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of computers, they would all get AOL accounts and send unsub messages to the list address. I don't know it as well. I was a moderator there, and also responsible for keeping the spammers away, that's why Stefano had given me admin rights one day. But Stefano did the software installation, configuration, and all this technical stuff, it was his website and forum. The website disappeared on May 2nd. I was totally surprised, and I hoped it is just a temporarily failure. But a few days later, the advertisements came. So it looks like the site is completely gone, which is really a pity. I had immediately sent an e-mail to Stefano, to inform him that the site is gone, and if he knows the reason for it, but he hasn't answered so far. Anyone come across any great Lisa concert torrents lately? On Thu, 22 May 2008 19:14:25 +0200 Bernd Wenisch wrote: dhowery wrote: > Does anyone know what happened to the website/forum? Can't say I've come across her musical style yet, but some that make me think of Lisa. (Also struck by how Ingrid Michaelson's "Glass" reminds me of Lisa anytime I hear it.) I'd definitely recommend muxtape for listening to very random "mixtapes" and discovering new music. If any list members have uploaded their own mixtapes to muxtape, please share a link with the list! I'd love to discover some music other Lisa fans enjoy.
