Joe, I can verify that I also ordered one of each CD: "Rare, Unusual, or Just Bad", "Concentrated", and Denise Bonis's and these are the 3 CD's I got from Lisa. I am sure Lisa will correct if she has made some mistakes in preparing/packing CD's for you, the thing is though that she might be geting somewhat busy with PR for the new CD and all the concerts she now has ahead. In that case just hope you are a patient person :-) Vigfzs-Iceland > -----Original Message----- > From: TRman2323@aol.com [mailto:TRman2323@aol.com] > Sent: 14. aprml 2003 22:53 > To: sycophant@smoe.org > Subject: Re: sycophant 1 or 2 rarities discs? > > > In a message dated 4/14/2003 3:50:25 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > joe@wiencis.com writes: > > > > Well *someone* besides me must have ordered them already. > I'm not accusing > > anyone of anything. Quite possibly from Pig, since I haven't heard the entire thing yet. (Yes, it was - Dreamglasses Off) It's a nice way to start my morning. The main reason for my little note, though, is that I recently subscribed to an online music service called EMusic (www.emusic.com). As I understand things, it shares membership fees with the artists and labels that allow distribution of their MP3s through the site. It's still pretty fledgling, you won't find everyone or everything on there but it's pretty cool having a bunch of good music centralized for legitimate download. I found On The Way Down From The Moon Palace on there but none of Lisa's other CDs. I want to buy the physical CDs for her anyway, for pictures and liner notes and whatnot. But I was curious as to why her first CD is the only one up there. I suspect it has something to do with the label that it was released on. Anyone out there have a clearer idea than that? I'm so looking forward to Friday night's Largo show. Will anyone be going Thursday night? I'd love to hear what that's like - if it's different than a normal gig there because it's a CD Release party and all. Cheers, Christe The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
