Funny, I'd say the exact opposite--the capitol version sounded rougher and the 4ad version more polished. I'm not sure if those songs are completely different versions (well, dresses is)--but the 4ad versions definitely have extra sorta-atmospheric guitar loops and such--the one in Puppet is especially prominent. I didn't bother picking up the capitol version after listening to a friend's copy a couple times. The 4ad version is more "alternative 4ad-sounding" along the lines of excerpts and slide, while the capitol version is more "folksy rock" sounding along the lines of moon palace, although that exaggerates the difference between the two. Still, it's an awful lot more than just the track order like LG has claimed. The guitar at the beginning of Bad Attitude is actually a part from "Around the World"--note the arpeggio at "0:40" in AtW.
