Is Miamo-Tutti still alive? I miss Lisa a lot? You know, even if I know there is no new album, I'm still seeking at the letter G or the name Germano. I don't know, i'm expecting some miracle to materialized in a new album or something, a book about her, a calender, a poster,... Nothing at all! What a shame a cult artist like her, there's nothing to find about her. And that's why I'm staying on that list, I'm expecting some miracle. Hello Christian, Kleinemans and Sycophants, I saw Lisa at the Knitting Factory in NYC just a couple of months prior to the Slide release, and she mentioned in her intro to "Messages From Sophia" that Miami-Tutti had passed on. Having lost my own precious kitty last January, I know how she feels. I am currently putting together a mixed cassette of songs about cats as a tribute to my dear departed Girlie. I'll let you all know when it is finished, and maybe if anyone is interested, we can do a trade. My guess is that most Lisa fans are cat people too! Also, I just want to mention to Kleinemans, I'm one of the oldies on the list (45 - gasp!), and if it weren't for this list, I would not have gone to the effort of familiarizing myself with the eels. I bought 'Daisies' and LOVE it. I'm looking forward to their NYC gig! Perhaps. Not me, I'm afraid. (Not that I'm a dog person either!) > Also, I just want to mention to Kleinemans, I'm one of the oldies on the list (45 - gasp!) Me too, I'm 47. I think a lot of people's musical sensibilities fossilize in their early 20s--such people usually just like what their cohort was into at that time. For others, people who are really into music, age has little to do with it--they can appreciate younger or older artists than themselves. - ------- The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music: http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide/ - ------- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe sycophant If you gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of computers, they would all get AOL accounts and send unsub messages to the list address.
