The Los Angeles update used the language "postponed" regarding the show there. Does anyone know the status of the tour? Canceled, or postponed? I hope it's the latter. It's like waiting a long time for some rare comet to appear, only to have the sky cloud over. Pain and sadness... Germano dates >I don't think this has been announced but the eels/Lisa Germano sold >out show at the El Rey Theatre 11/14 has been postponed to a later >date. This is true. The show here in San Francisco has been cxl'd as well due to "Mr. E's" mother having died from cancer. She had been battling it for awhile apparently. As it stands now, Lisa is opening up for HNIA and Komeda in LA instead of the El Ray show. She is also now going to be headlining up in Seattle (Don't know where) in place of the Eels/Germano show, but unfortunately, Slim's, here in SF will not give her a headlining show, but she may tag along and open up with HNIA @ the Komeda show here on Monday (11/16) A friend of mine who works in a record store here and has good contacts w/ various record weasels was also told (in addition to all the above) that Lisa will play somewhere here in SF somethime before the new year. We'll see. Take care.
