I got my first Lisa Germano album (Happiness) from cdconnection.com
(via telnet, before they had a web presence, or at least before I 
knew about it -- I kinda liked the telnet 'cuz I can order at work and all
anyone sees is text -- it is not obvious I'm ordering CDs on company 
time... (not that I don't do my share - heck in the software industry
we work "all hours"))

Anyway, the other three cd's of hers I got in stores, 'cuz they were 
there!

Speaking of hard to find cd's, where could I find On the Way to Moon
Palace (I think that's what her first cd is called)? I found the other
three used, including the original version of Happiness.  But that only
goes to show how little taste people around here have.
Another question--what does OP8 sound like? I can't get the sound files on
the internet to work on my school's computers, so I need a verbal
description.

You can buy one from me.  Whenever I see them in stores, I buy them
for people on this list, and sell them =at cost=.  I have one, used
right now. (I need to dig up my receipt to know how much I paid for
it, but it wasn't that much.)

To add even more unhelpful addition to the pot, I got my copy from Flying 
Nun records NZ, (useful really as I live in NZ) who had quite a lot of 
stuff on their "Flying In" import section - I even bought Happiness on LP 
as well as CD simply because it was selling for NZ$7 in one of their 
monthly sales, but I've just checked back there (www.flyingnun.nz.com if 
you're interested) and they appear to have sold all their Lisa Germano 
back-catalogue.

I bought the "Inconsiderate Bitch" and "Small Heads" EPS from the internet, 
but appear to have lost my e-mail to them.  I'll see if I can find the 
receipt (yeah right..) and check out their site. (If I can find it again 
I'll see if they have the "I love a snot" and "Cry Wolf" singles which I 
have just decided I should really get).

In answer to your other question, the OP8 album is a really good one, 
although as it is a collaboration, only a couple of songs sound typically 
"Germano-ish" - not a bad thing as the entire thing is pretty cool.  Not 
exactly a review which will give you any idea of what the album actually 
sounds like of course, but I'm at work - give me a break.  There are plenty 
of reviews floating on the net though.
