Subject: sycophant hello

Hello

I just joined the list and the last email I read inspired me to
(finally) write to the list.  This is just a little note about my
favorite stuff that Lisa has written.  I got into her music from
listening to the "Falling From Grace" (the John Cougar movie)
soundtrack.  She has a song on there called 'Little Children'.  This is
actually another version of her song 'On the way down from the moon
palace'.  Anyway, i heard her song and i had to get her CD.  So the
first one i bought was the new version of "Happiness".  Of course i
loved it and have since bought everything i could find by her.  It is
hard to say what my favorite song of all is but i really like 'Singing
to the Birds'.  Her two songs on OP8 are also excellent.  I saw her in
concert in april and it was a really cool experience.  I hear there is a
new album in the works.  Anybody know the release date? 

Oh well i guess i better get back to work.

Did Lisa Germano every come to the US to tour?
Maybe someone should hint to OP8 to come here since they only tour in
London (or so it seems to me).  Does she live there (boy does this show
how little I know of her)?

For a long time, Lisa lived in Indiana (mirabile dictu).  She's
recently moved to southern California.

I went to high school with Lisa and she grew up in Mishawaka, IN (northen
indiana) and then lived in Bloomington (IU country) for a while. I believe
she spent some time in New Orleans too.

Hey all...A little note...Lisa has jumped off the deep end and let someone
remix her song "Lovesick" and release it!  Haven't heard it yet but I think
it is an interesting change of pace.  Real curious I am.  Heard it yet?  Tell
me what ya think.  By the way...is it La or LA ?  I think it will be out the
end of the year...can't wait!
