I didn't realize how obsessed I would be with it. I really think it's jumped up into my top five albums ever, sliding past Sufjan's Illinois and sitting just behind Exile in Guyville. I got to see Cat Power in Chicago in September and it was such a great show. She has an amazing voice and is incredibly unpredictable, which are two things I really love in a performer. Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood This is probably my favorite Neko album. Her voice is just amazing (even live), and the writing on this record is just unbelievable. Lily Allen - Alright, Still I hope this album becomes a big hit when it' is officially released in the US. Lily has a sweet, adorable voice and sings/raps about naughty things - Liz could maybe take some pointers from her if she descides to continue the bubble-gum pop route she's intent on following.
