I can't even remember where I got my original GS tapes, though I think it was from 1994 or 1995, and I'm pretty sure it was from someone I met on Usenet. But that computer I was using then is long gone -- so I can't tell you one way or another. And yes, I'd totally forgotten about "Red Ruby Lips," but I never really counted that as a Liz song in the first place. The most important query: Has anyone asked Liz herself? It's not like she's totally inaccessible... She cribs liberally from the Pixies/Jesus & Mary Chain's Head On in that song... That's 12 tracks. Assuming Liz kept a 14-song lineup throughout the Girly Sound cassettes, then there are two more tracks that we don't have yet. One might be "Head On", which is name checked in a review in "Rockpool", January 1, 1993 -- you can find this article here: - --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. I absolutely love these tracks, some I've never heard/found before. ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V9 #36 ***********************************
