Is music just not what it used to be? I'm not as excited by new music now as I once was. I have listened to Green Day's American Idiot more than once and I really did play Jay-Z's Black Album more than a few times, too. But I don't feel like I'm exposed to any new good, thoughtful, inspired music anymore, just mainstream media pop garbage. I grew up and got a job and became a responsible adult citizen of my community, but I never thought that meant I'd be losing touch with cutting edge new bands. Does that still exist? I used to love that. How do you find that here in grown-up-suburbia-land? Maybe I just am getting old. ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V7 #191 ************************************
