I like the headset mike, it really freed Liz up to move around the stage. The set list: Flower Johnny Feelgood Polyester Bride Rock Me Extraordinary Mesmerizing Glory (solo w/lead guitarist doing some fills) Shitloads $$ (that's how it is on the setlist) Never Said Bionic Eyes Red Light (I think she played Scared here) Love/Hate Favorite Divorce Song Why Can't I Supernova FNR (Fuck and Run) HWC Liz seemed happy and was smiling all the time. She was wearing blue jeans with a vintage YES (my fave prog band, Liz might just like the shirt) sleeveless T-shirt. No Rocky Mtn Way. The Cardigans were great. I didn't like the solo keyboard lady (Charlotte Martin?), but did like Katy Rose OK. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2004 00:16:49 +0000 From: davidcrider@comcast.net Subject: [support-system] Re: RMW Just a little extra on RMW. The songcame out in 1973. When I saw Joe Walsh in 1974 (yes, I'm old), he, being the joker that he is, changed the lyrics from Bases are loaded and Casey's at bat to Bases are loaded and Nixon's at bat ... time to change the batter When I saw him in the early 80's he changed it to Bases are loaded and Reagan's at bat ... time to change the batter So...when I saw Joe this June at the Clapton's Crossroads Festival here in Dallas, I fully expected Bases are loaded and Bush is at bat..., but he actually sang Bases are loaded and Casey's at bat... I just smiled to myself and realized you just can't ever assume you know what's going to happen. I hope Liz is great tonight! I'm ready and on my way. > Date: Fri, 06 Aug 2004 02:06:37 +0000 > From: "Katie Brown" > Subject: [support-system] lyrics to RMW > > Artist: Joe Walsh Lyrics > Song: Rocky Mountain Way Lyrics > ... > Well he's tellin' us this > And he's tellin' us that > Changes it every day > Say's it doesn't matter > Bases are loaded and Casey's at bat > Playin' it play by play > Time to change the batter ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Aug 2004 00:16:49 +0000 From: davidcrider@comcast.net Subject: [support-system] Re: RMW Just a little extra on RMW.
