I'm not sure how Billboard gets its numbers but if what you are listing is the peak number for each album, that is very limited. You would have to consider how long the album is in the charts as well as who is in the charts at the same time. In different weeks, the same number of album sales could give you much different rankings, depending on how well other albums are selling. So an album that hits number one could, theoretically, sell less copies than an album that never broke the top 100 if that first album sold 2 million all at once and the latter sold 2.1 million over a number of years. This is from the English translation of a Max (French edition) article recently posted on Mesmerizing (the URL is http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Club/2471/00000273.html). Of the "rockeuse one of Chicago", I learned that "it passes his adolescence to Winnetka, in I' Illinois" and that in 1995 she "is made pass the ring to the finger by a certain Jim Staskausas". The author's claim that Liz had "accepted our invitation under the shower" was intriguing, but unsubstantiated. I also learned that automated language translation like the AltaVista Babel Fish Translation Service still has a long way to go. Luckily, Ken has also posted the French original, so I'm able to make more headway (even my school French can cope with "Je suis trhs girlie"). And as I'm hopping over to France next week on business, my confidence is boosted by having understood the French version better than the English one. BTW, anyone know who Liz was seeing post-divorce in the quote "Je sortais avec un acteur trhs connu, et l'on continue ` se voir un peu"? - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I'm posting links to the men's and women's designs here. If anyone is interested in getting in on the order, the price will be between $17 - $30 depending on which syle and the quantity ordered. You're probably looking at $20.27 for the men's shirt or $17.96 for the women's as long as I order a dozen of each (plus whatever it costs me to ship it to you) . Men's: http://customink.com/cink/r.jsp?E=christineh%40cbic.com&F=lizmens3 Women's: http://customink.com/cink/r.jsp?E=christineh%40cbic.com&F=liz6 I'm not making any money on these...you're paying EXACTLY what it costs to have the shirt made. I just really want the shirt and I get a better deal if I order in bulk...so I thought I may as well share the joy. Email me privately if you're interested.
