I hardly think that the compilation cd was put out because the Fabulous Five or whoever actually want to share their vision of Fabulous Music with the world...Queer Eye is all about consumerism. the only reason that cd comp was thrown together is to cash-in on the popularity the tv show. and its working, of course. it even debuted higher on the billboard charts than courtney love's new cd (not that she is a good frame of reference...it just depressed me to see a mediocre dance comp sell more copies than a fabulous-n-trashy rock record). They also have a book out that they're peddling at an in-store near you! But these days that is expected of a television show that is exploitative in nature. Whatever. i am the first to admit that i can't wait till i get my Queer Eye for a Straight Guy Fabulous Hair Goo (on backorder right now, such a hott item! I want my hair to look just like the white guy's!) and my Queer Eye Fannypack that I ordered in the mail! Fannypacks are the new sweatbands--see, even parker posey thinks so: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/1990/Events/1990/ParkerPose_Kambo_1107252_400.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Posey,%20Parker steve (in a catty mood. we queers get that way sometimes.) ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V7 #39 ***********************************
