I dreamed she wrote a book about me, and then she somehow morphed into Liz. Try looking inward and at the people you know in real life instead. The people I know in real life instead? Shit...u mean there is life after Liz? For real... weird. I'm glad you pointed this out though. Now what the hell has been going on since 1993? I think I'm gonna go call up my friends and invite them out for cheese sticks at T.G.I. Fridays and do some serious inward soul-searching. Thanks for the advice! dan ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2003 12:27:11 -0700 (PDT) From: Emil Breton Subject: Re: [support-system] Thank Christ It's Friday Dan wrote: > I think I'm gonna go call up my friends and invite > them out for cheese > sticks at T.G.I. 'love/hate' is still my favorite, and 'it's sweet' is good, and 'friend of mine'. but most of it had no impact, removed from the 'newness' of listening to it in, say, june. it's been out for 4 months now. i'm interested: do people find they still listen to it? do they find their opinions of it changing, for better or worse? and lastly i thought that post about liz being shown in a company presentation, to indicate that this company was going to start tageting the under-35 crowd was very funny. not at liz's expense, but just that whoever put the presentation together thought she represented that demographic... np: my bloody valentine on the 'lost in translation' soundtrack (which is a brilliantly atmospheric cd, btw) o .. _________________________________________________________________ Add MSN 8 Internet Software to your current Internet access and enjoy patented spam control and more. I also just gave it a listen after not hearing it for a month or so. I programed it to skip the one's I can't handle. Something I've never done with a Liz cd. I just can't listen to any of the matrix song and I have to be in the mood for My Mother Is Mine. The rest I enjoy, but I have yet to develope a need to hear any of them like with other Liz song. Sometimes I just have to hear the other ones. On a different note does anybody know where I can get my hands on a copy of Jen Trynins 1st cd? I've been checking the used cd stores but know luck. I've been checking the used cd stores but know luck. I think both of Jen's albums are still available from her Web site, www.jentrynin.com, but are otherwise out of print now. There's always eBay as well; there's usually two or three copies of _Cockamamie_ listed there at any given time. The first album from Jen's new band Loveless is also now available for order from www.qdivision.com, but isn't officially out until next month. I haven't gotten around to ordering it myself, but I really liked the 5-song EP they released a year or so ago and can't wait to hear the new record. "Why Can't I?" is up one more spot to #52 on the Hot 100 this week also. Derek ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V6 #285 ************************************
