has anyone mentioned that at the Chicago show signs were posted all over as you walked in that by entering you were agreeing to release Liz, capitol, her mgt, etc. and direct from liability and giving consent for them to film you to be aired later on direct TV?  maybe she will be a "free view" weekend concert... that would be great....

would someone mind posting the actual column or whatever?  the link didn't
work for me (says i have to register? no.)  and am curious about this...

She put out five mediocre and unsuccessful popcountry records in the late
80s and mid90s, and had her huge breakthrough with the self-penned "I am
Shelby Lynne" which got her a grammy in 2000 (ridiculously enough, the
"Best New Artist" grammy).  her next effort "Love, Shelby" (the one with
her asscheeks hanging out on the cover) was cowritten and (over)produced
by bigshot Glen Ballard and turned out to be a commerical and musical
flop.  Perhaps they let her take the reins because the record she had the
most success with so far was the one where she had the most personal
involvement?  that'd be my guess.

this is a jinx!! it shouldn't have been said!  just like the breeders
(does anyone REALLY believe we're going to get another breeders record
before 2010?)
