(attn: Emil Breton) [Kenneth Lee Subject: about the AWESOME show tonite ok, so i just got back from possibly the best show i've ever been to. it was in phoenix. i was standing center, 2nd from the front. the crowd: i've been to hundreds of shows, and i've never seen a crowd in such a frenzy. seriously. liz had this embarrassed smile on her face the entire show, cause the crowd was showing her more love than she could take in. the cheering didnt stop the entire time. even when nothing was happening, the crowd was riled up. sometimes i think she had the thought of "how will i ever stop playing? they're not going to let me leave". also, the most "sing-along" show i've ever been too. this usually bothers me, but it fit the mood of tonite. the only time it was annoying was during digger when the person behind me decided to be the only one singing along at the top of their horrible lungs. i gave her the dirtiest look i've ever given someone at a show. flower: i read comments earlier that she was just teasing the crowd with flower. well, not tonight. she played it beginning to end. you could tell it took the band a second to figure out that she wasn't stopping. i don't think she could stop if she wanted to. the crowd was singing along at the top of their lungs. and probably would never let it rest if she dared stop. comments on liz: i know she got better with her stage fright a while ago, but the crowd's support deffinitely put her at ease tonite. i've seen her several times over the years and a couple recently, and i think she sometimes looks stiff, or like she's concentrating too hard or something. this show was deffinitely different. it was like we were chilling in someone's livingroom. she makes really good eye contact with everyone in the front. most bands kinda give this blank stare into the crowd in general, but she payed close attention to each person. my 16 yr old sister tapped me after HWC and said "she didn't make eye contact with anyone during that song. she had her eyes shut". i thought that was a funny observation. she also aknowledged every thing she heard people shout out. one guy's "fuck the critics". she says "yeah, let's fuck the critics". she was wearing a one piece kinda t-shirt dress, off one shoulder, which i love. it was so short, it came barely to below her butt. (her underwear was white). well, that's all i remember right now. if anyone else was there, i'd be interested in your thoughts. ~aly __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Umm...interesting video, too colorful and cluttered in my opinion. I prefer simple or B/W videos. Speaking of Vh1, anyone had the patience to see the top 200 Top Icons? I basically looked at the list online and was surprised to see who's number one. Geez. Katie (); ) ===== ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "My love belongs to who can see it."
