If it's just this "Jeremy Engle" song, that's a far cry from the >"internet-only EP" that was supposed to be included with the album. I was >kinda looking forward to a few more new songs... I don't remember what the exact wording was, but it was something to the effect of "including ..." which led me to believe that there was more to it. But those were the only things that were mentioned. I understand where all the disappointment is coming from. You want the new record to be like the old records. But, it's hard to keep making the same record over and over again. I figure, if you put out one truely classic album, you have license to make whatever music you want. While EIG is a classic, I felt that Whitechocolatespaceegg was Liz's consummate album. her 'Automatic for the People'. Anything Liz records at this point, for me, is a bonus. It's like, thank you Liz, thank you for still being a rockstar. - -Ginz _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 2 Jun 2003 21:23:09 -0700 (PDT) From: Jason Tedford Subject: "Liz Phair" autographed pre-order Just saw this and thought I'd pass along. The Aware Records store (www.awarestore.com) has Liz's new album up for pre-order. The bonus is that the first 1500 will be autographed by the lady herself, and it's only $15. If anyone is curious about the connection, Liz's new management is being handled by Greg Latterman, who is also the founder of Aware Records. Pretty sweet deal.
