no one's requiring her to be a "hero." yuk. no one's mad because she
wants to make money. as i've said a million times, she got a 100K advance
from matador for EIG. i'm sure she got more for WS. she made money--just
not heaping amounts. and as i've said a million times, and as steve said,
i'm having a hard time with her strategy of expecting more and more
(adulation, wealth, etc.) from less and less ("ass" songwriting <grin>).
this is where the "integrity" issue rears its ugly head. i honestly don't
know whom she thinks she's kidding. ***** didn't someone post about her
being in this new movie? she must be one of the "flings." whatever. *****
and *no kidding* about jane jumping the shark; that mag bugs. laters. dp

... and i love imdb as much as the next guy but where the hell did they get

Charles, thanks for quoting my favorite critic of all time.  As usual, his observations on music still ring true, and support my personal theory on why everyone loves dead musicians and other artists: we know their next work won't threaten the image we've built of them.  And yes, that line of thought might just tie in to the current Liz discussions.
