I should mention that I've updated Mesmerizing. Added all the news items, the Liz interview, and some more pictures of the Phair one. Ok, so this is kind of sad that I'm even telling you this, but after I read that horrible article I'm worried. So I had a dream that I was watching MTV and they had a "making the video" for none other than Liz. They showed some stills of it first, and she got had gotten bad breast implants and looked like Mariah Carey. Then for the actual show, she was dressed in this really tacky bra and panties with her hair all curly and cheesy. Kind of like Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City episode where she is being horribly styled for the cover of her book. Then she is jumping around all happy in her bra and panties chanting "I wanna sell records! I wanna sell records! There's nothing wrong with that!" I was mortified! On a random note, the past two times I've gone into the Diesel store in Manhattan (the uptown one) the DJ (two different ones) has been playing Liz. One time it was "Johnny Feelgood", then the second was "Support System". He had "whip-smart" on vinyl. That's all. dan - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Protect your PC - Click here for McAfee.com VirusScan Online ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2003 17:59:44 -0500 (EST) From: Stephen Griffes Subject: whitehothappytragicglobalwarming > commente. I miss the young Liz. Boo to the bird who wrote this article; in > discussion of it is just not good. One cannot capture the days of "Flower" > if one is past that time huh? i dont really see what age has to do w/ anything. Someone who is in their 30s can like "white hot cum" just as much as--or more than--someone in their 20s. and goddamnit why not hot white cum. why white hot cum? am i the only one who thinks about these things? maybe liz does too. but how interesting that theres going to be glitzy matrix songs as well as touring band demos on the same record. it is suddenly 70 degrees where i live in michigan. this after having an ice storm a few days ago. the world is so fucked in every possible way. steve ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2003 18:23:16 -0500 From: Brett Jones Subject: Re: Prophetic dream?
