"Sticky Fingers?" "Let It Bleed?" "Selling England By The Pound?" But what is really wrong with the title she choose? It's a little corny and choppy. If she chose that title it must mean something to her. I think that Ken should put that down as a question for the interview. Why "Happy Tragic Thing"? I got a new computer that makes it really easy to "rip" songs and burn them, but somewhere along this process, it slightly re-tweaks certain levels in the songs. With this in mind, I've been making a lot of mixes, including Liz songs, and have heard a lot of stuff that I never noticed before. I must have heard the song "Johnny Feelgood" thousands of times, but until today I never heard this really subtle thing she whispers at the end. After singing "and i liked it yeah/ i really liked it", the song ends and she whispers "I can't believe it". Has anyone else heard this, or am I just deaf? Secondly, what an amazing title! I think the title obviously refers to "happy" sounding songs that have really sad undertones, yet are really optimistic. I think the album is going to be fucking amazing. I'm just going to be pissed if it only has the standard 11-12 songs that are on most "pop" albums. How much of a letdown would that be to wait five years for only 12 songs? Hey Ken, when you interview her can you ask her about this? That's all. -Dan - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MSN 8 helps ELIMINATE E-MAIL VIRUSES. Kinda fitting of the last four and a half years if you ask me. I guess she could have been a little more clever with the title, but I like it. I just hope the album is as rocking (and not in a poppy kind of way) as she is saying it is. But I don't care, like Jase said, at least it's coming out soon. Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
