so, overpavement, how come you're attending sundance?? i think it's totally
cool--i'm just wondering what you do in the film biz. i'm also wondering if
i'll ever see ya one of these times: i'm currently studying "media arts and
animation" and totally loving it. i'm prolly gonna get my booty up to LA
right after i graduate. anyway, we have to start "getting involved" in the
industry every chance we get, so that means going to everything film and TV
related we can reasonably get into. well, crashing ComiCon probably doesn't
count.   anyway, diggin' the life drawing classes. i was very surprised to
find that i can still do it after--what?--fifteen freakin' years!! jesus
christ....   just learned how to "bounce" a ball on paper <grin>... more to
follow.   anyway, sorry to hear about the endless lines and small rewards. 
i heard patricia clarkson, who was a stunning drugged-out deitrich-like
character in "high art" (one of my fave movies of all time, foever and
ever, amen), is the new sundance "it" girl.   alrighty, dp

Hey everyone.

Okay, this is what I've gathered about Liz's performances at Sundance.

Liz performed at the Ray-Ban Visonary Award for Colin Callender of HBO
Original Films on January 21st, 2003. I don't know what the setlist for this
show is at the moment.

The next night (January 22nd, 2003), at the Levi's HBO Party, Ben Lee
opened for headliner Beck, and Liz joined Ben Lee on stage. I don't have
the setlist for this performance either.

Okay, it's late, and I'm exhausted from gathering all of this information.

hmm.  i just got back from sundance a few hours ago.  i can say that i arrived there with no tickets to anything and saw 19 (count em) films in the last 4 1/2 days.  no waitlists either.  you just gotta work it properly.  if you expect it to be uncrowded, i think thats unrealistic, considering the stature of the event.  thats like expecting liz to play a small club and have there only be 20 people there so you could enjoy it more.
speaking of which, i pulled what strings i could to get into the liz show but they were completely out of tickets.  boo hoo.  a friend who stood by and listened caught the end--supernova and never said.
also, she came out and sang with ben lee, who opened for beck (another event closed to the public).  oh well, have to wwait till she gets her ass on tour i spose.
