Woohoo! haha. i can honestly say that i have never taken to an album so quickly as i did with that one. it hit me right away and i loved every song right way...that rarely happens. the effect wore off kinda quickly, but it will still be near the top of my list. i dunno...the dixie chicks aren't necessarily original...they just do whatever they happen to be doing better than anyone else. as for tanya donelly's BeautySleep...i love all the songs on Lovesongs...tanya is pretty much one of my favorites...so it's hard for me to dislike anything of hers (even the songs she claims to have written "for the label"). but i think lovesongs isn't a very cohesive album. Beautysleep totally outshines it and kinda marks a return to her early 90s sound. not only are all the songs great, but none of them seem out of place. it'll be at the top of my list too. still compiling my list (very hard to narrow it down to ten!)
