She's a goddess. Didn't Liz collaborate with Sheryl Crow to sing "Soak Up the Sun"? That was a good song. As long as she doesn't collaborate with Avril, all will be fine. I think she has enough sense for that. There are other singer/songwriters that they play on WXPN, a public radio station here in Philly, that sound very good and I never really listened to. Kim Richey, Patty Griffin, etc. _________________________________________________________________ Surf the Web without missing calls! Every time a turn around Tori has a newCD coming out. Liz should work with her, maybe than Liz would put out a CD every otheryear.} see, i know! and tori has a kid, too, so.... and, wow, what's with the random attack of someone's opinion of "the ring"? seriously, what did this person do wrong?? yikes.... alice, you're just fine. so, ok, we think we're gonna see something by liz in a few months? is that where we are on the "liz album fantasy timetable"? it's so funny: i'll start talking about all this new music i've heard about or someone's take on a new movie or whatever. and they're like, "how do you know all this?" and i go, "i'm on the liz phair digest." and then we just sorta look at each other 'cause i know they have no idea who the hell i'm talking about. and then i launch into this big long explanation of who she is and blah, blah, blah, and then it always end with, "...the last thing she did, which was released in nineteen ninety-eight. [long pause] so we talk about, you know, other stuff. in fact, by this time it's pretty much like 'liz who?'" anyways dp ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Oct 2002 12:13:09 -0600 From: "Brooke, Robert" Subject: [none] dp wrote: "i'm on the liz phair digest." and then we just sorta look at each other 'cause i know they have no idea who the hell i'm talking about. and then i launch into this big long explanation of who she is and blah, blah, blah, and then it always end with, "...the last thing she did, which was released in nineteen ninety-eight. I hate it when I talk to certain friends who were Liz fans and tell them about what's going on as far as news about Liz and they look at me and say, "She isn't dead?" or "You haven't given up on her yet?. I tell them "no" and about the commercials she was on and they stare at me, they just stare. I have no one to talk about Liz with except the very little that I posted on this digest. Has anyone done a pool on when Liz Phair's CD going to come out or is it been overdone and just boring by now?
