I kinda agree with the "a little too treble-y" though. But I think you are doing a great job restoring them. :) And if there is a tree, I could burn CD's for people in Europe. I find it inexcusable for a major magazine that usually fails to provide exposure to women musicians to have a special "women in rock" issue. Why don't they devote attention to "women in rock" on a normal basis?? their attitude is "Oh no, we'll only talk about women if they sell a million albums and make good covergirls, otherwise they get stuck in the semi-annual Women In Rock issue." Sorry, "women" is not a genre. It's okay to have "the metal issue" or "the punk issue" or "the garage issue" or WHATEVER but "the woman issue"? That's fucked up. Women who make music should be in every fucking issue of rolling stone just as much as men. but they're way too busy putting the latest model/actress on their cover to see that. jerks. i know it's the most popular music magazine, but let's not get in a tizzy because lizzy isn't at the top of one of their lame lists. on a sorta-related-note-because-she-was-at-the-premiere-with-her-bag, I REALLY want to see "the ring". i just read a review of it and it sounds sorta creepy. i think i'll see it this weekend. i love naomi watts! And am reminded of Amy Ray's song on her solo album Stag about the CEO of Rollling Sone, Jann Werner: 'little Janny Werner gave the boys what they deserve, but with the girls he lost his nerve' :-).
