I have the All Over Me soundtrack with I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone on it. I love that song. I was just wondering if there are big differences of styles between their albums and which album would be best for someone new to the band. I know this isn't Liz related, but since everyone here seems to share some of the same musical tastes I thought this would be a great place to get advice. (Especially since I haven't found any stores that sell any of their albums or anyone who's even heard of them around here!) Thanks, *amber* Yahoo! I just picked up there new cd One Beat. Definently interesting!!! There coming to Chicago in Oct. and I plan on going, so I figured they'd do alot of stuff off of it. Does anybody know why there name is Sleater Kinney? Maybe it's there maiden names. (Just a guess) Oh Well have a good one! SMc Yahoo! "we're all equal in the face of what we're most afraid of." i know it's a very personal song, but the tension in it is ridiculous. and, incidentally, i'm sorry for the interruption in the threads about how consumers and fans should just fork over the money they usually work pretty hard for any time some lazy-assed motherfucker decides to budge her crusty ass crack long enough to put out a record every 5 or 8 years. i'm very tempted to go on the record and say that if liz ever releases another cd, i will only buy a used copy. let her managers and capitol execs give her *their* money. i'm not sure at all why i should give her any of mine at this point. i've never downloaded any album that i didn't also go out and buy, just b/c i think it's the right thing to do and that pirating an album worth of songs is wrong. but as i watch the way the record companies and 'artists' behave and treat everything as a careering exercise, i really don't know, in this specific case, why i shouldn't just do everything possible to make sure i don't drop a dime into capitol's or liz's pocket. it's just a lot to ask that we accept them missing release date after advertised release date. and so, i don't believe i will go out and buy it on day-1, because by day-3 there will be 10 copies in the rack at my local used-cd store. i'll still be spending some dough, but i'll be helping a local business person in falls church instead of giving a stiff cent to people who assume we're all dumbasses and douchebags. that *is* what they think, btw, i guarantee it. o _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V5 #166 ************************************
