"I dont get it, are these for me to keep?" sara said, "no, just sign them, please," and I looked at kim and joked, "its okay, you've been drinking, I understand." kim laughed and said, "oh no, I'm not drunk, I'M PREGNANT." what the effing hell? kim deal is pregnant. wasnt this the woman who said, "saw it on a wall, motherhood means mental freeze"? sigh. wow. this is incredible. xoxox : stace _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 9 Feb 2002 13:00:54 EST From: Standingsixfeet1@aol.com Subject: breeders, Breeders, Breeders Had an awesome time at the show last night. The North Star Bar is one of Philly's oldest and best venues, actually like having the Breeders playing in my living room. They really seem to have cleaned up their act since the earlier shows -- even though Kim was very hoarse, I think it only added to her sexiness. They began with No Aloha and continued with a wonderful collection of the old, new, and rare stuff. For encores (if you could call them encores, as they never left the stage, just had a cigeratte break)they played Buffy and Divine Hammer. I was surprised out how lively the crowd was, lots of moshing (which was fun moshing not scary moshing). Anyway, when the show was over Kim and Kelley immediately sat down on the stage, signed everything put in front of them and talked and talked . . . it was so refreshing to see someone like Kim have no pretentions. Afterwards, I was trying to hail a cab outside and I had a Breeders shirt in my hand. I suddenly felt a warm hug around me and turned around to see it was Kelley. She immediately signed my shirt "Kelley Deal rocks" and continued to gab with me. Anyway, Kelley rocked, Kim rocked, the whole damn band rocked . . . only the opening act sucked (total Nirvana wanabees). But if you couldn't get tickets, word has it a larger tour is starting this summer. james ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V5 #34 ***********************************
