They've just posted 13 demos on their Web site, many of which will likely resurface on their next record, due April 30. For those keeping score, that's two albums in 11 months. It would be relly cool if Capitol did something like this for Liz's website. I don't really think it would hurt sales of the album. I know most of the people on this list got the 96 shelved demos and still bought the finished product - WCSE. In addition it would give fans some cause to keep interest in Liz. Judging by the volume of the list, even hardcore Liz fans are sort of apathetic nowadays. They could put up a few new tracks or lyrics every two to three weeks or so until the album is released spring/summer 2002. I think it is vital to Liz's career for her to be more proactive with the website as a means to keep her in her fan's frame of reference. Waiting 4 years inbetween albums every time kills any momentum that she is able to build up. Like it or not some fans just move on after such an extended wait. ===== - ------------------------------------------------------------ "But life is good; it's not as bad as Thom Yorke would have you believe." - Noel Gallagher, Oasis - ------------------------------------------------------------ Send FREE video emails in Yahoo!
