I don't think you have to worry about Michael Penn, he won't make her sound old. He has fought so long ansd so hard to be true to his musical vision for his own work, and I doubt he'd do the oppsite with Liz. His label problems have been almost as bad as Aimee Mann's, for the same reasons Aimee had hers.
