Just wanted to send a quick congratulations to Andrea on her book. Sounds like something definitely worth reading! And just a quick reply to what Mike was saying about his experience with Pete Yorn... I'm a recent fan of his music and when I found out he was working with Liz on the next album I was pretty excited. A friend of mine even went so far as to hope that he and Liz start dating. I'm just waiting for the damn album. Anyway, back to Pete Yorn... I've heard from many people that he's drunk - a lot. Kinda sad if you think about it. I can understand wanting to have a beer or two to relax before or after a show, but this is starting to seem like classic self-destructive behavior a la rockstar style. I just pray it's not, because I think he's awesome (and cute to boot). Anyway, that's enough of my babble. That's a pretty funny story, but considering how out of it he was, can you be sure he even knew what he was saying about Liz's record? ; ) Pete really REALLY needs a bottle of shampoo. Seriously, that diseased Shih Tzu on top of his head makes Eddie Vedder look like Eddie Haskell. On the back page they asked a bunch of different celebrities "how much would you tell your mother about your sex life?" .... Since it's short, I typed it up below. Enjoy! - -Stacey LIZ PHAIR Rocker whose last record was the acclaimed Whitechocolatespaceegg. "My mother that quiet abut sexuality, and so I was quiet back to her. There was a period when I threw it in her face by staying out late, but I never really wanted her to know what I was doing. She married her high school sweetheart. She was a virgin when she got married, so it didn't seem like there was any point in sharing because frankly, what could she have told me? Even now, when I've already had a child, sexuality is just not an area in which we've come to terms." ------------------------------ End of support-system-digest V4 #257 ************************************
