But shows like this have the tapes there as a backup. I know she does still actually sing, but she has the tapes just in case. That kind of thing is completely standard practice for any stadium act. I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that even acts like Billy Joel do it. It's insurance. You can spot the ADATs of DA88s at practically every big concert you go to, usually just off stage or at the control booth. I've watched Live, Hole, even PJ Harvey use them. Anyhow, I'm not meaning to slag Madonna per se, although I really hate her and all she stands for.
