[Thierry Pottier ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2001 06:06:39 -0700 (PDT) From: Andy Peters Subject: Brad Wood news Some news on Brad Wood, Liz's erstwhile producer: Brad produced some, if not all the songs on the new Better Than Ezra album, "Closer". Of all the bands of that harder-edged, alternative-rock, white-male lead-vocalist ilk that came out in the mid 90s -- I'm thinking Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots, hell, even Hootie & the Blowfish -- Better Than Ezra was above average. Haven't heard any of the songs on their new album, though. Better Than Ezra probably wouldn't get much radio airplay these days, since they're not rap-metal (Staind, Korn), funk-rap-metal (Crazy Town, Blink 182), or neo-grunge (Tool).
