I mean, it had to be a life-changing even, like losing your virginity? Answer: For me it was my first rock concert. Stone Temple Pilots. July 10, 1994 at the Marcus Ampitheater in Milwaukee. I had third row seats and that concert literally changed my life and inspired me to want to play guitar, which I've been doing for the last 7 years. I'll never forget that show. It's still the best concert I've ever been to. STP is the best live band on the planet. Nobody can touch them. I'll never forget being a part of that sold out crowd of 24,000, and singing along to EVERY song. The electric atmosphere of that show has yet to be topped in all of the shows I've been to since then. B)What's the most you ever paid for a show? Answer: When I paid $115 to see Tom Petty at the Hard Rock in Vegas this past June. It was worth every single penny too. He played for 3 hours and I was standing 4th row center. That was an amazing night that I will never forget. Craig ===== "As a band, what we do live there's no one who can touch us. Anyone in search of a "supernova" single? I believe that's for collectors... I have one, in good condition... Though I really love liz's music, I don't need this single, but I am in search of P(*)E's CD: Haunted... I know it might not be worth it... I know... It may not be a interesting trading for you, I mean... But as Poe's Cd is not imported in France, and as I have no credit card, this is the only way for me to have a chance to get it... I don't care if it is a second hand one, as far as it is in good condition... So if anyone is interested, please mail: lookfine@caramail.com Friendly Thierry ______________________________________________________ Bonte aux lettres - Caramail - http://www.caramail.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Jul 2001 12:33:26 -0500 From: "christine m." It aired last Saturday here in Chicago...I missed it too, but my family said they taped it for me. If anyone is interested in getting a copy...email me. >3) Speaking of live shows, a couple of threads......A) >What show kicked ass partially because you knew very >little about the band until that night. I had went to see the Verve Pipe, and Tonic and K's Choice were there too. I had heard a bit from K's Choice before, and knew they were ok.....but when they took the stage, I was blown away! There were awesome! B) What's the most you ever paid for a show. In Chicago, one of the radio stations puts on shows twice a year that have like 10 bands there...those tickets are usually in the $40 range. Ok, ok so i'm not a big spender....
